Curator Wine Co Barossa Valley Shiraz (6 per case)

Our philosophy is to curate the finest wines from the Barossa's most exclusive sub-regions

This Barossa Valley Shiraz was sourced from our 5 different plots of Shiraz at our home Marananga vineyard. The hand-picked grapes had a two-day cold soak then naturally fermented using indigenous wild yeasts. The ferment was hand plunged three times daily for approximately ten days. Then basket pressed and filled into French oak 15% new for three weeks of barrel fermentation followed by 18 months maturation. Dark cherries, blueberries and a well-integrated layer of fine French oak make this a powerful but smooth wine.

TASTING NOTES

The Wine is fabulously composed and expressed on the nose showing dark fruit intensity with dark chocolate, spicy oak and subtle game characters. It's wonderfully weighted and plush on the palate, delivering terrific fruit purity and richness, leading to a gorgeously long delectable finish
