Red Right Hand Shiraz Grenache Tempranillo 2017
The 2017 Red Right Hand is the result of the union of three of the great world varieties each with their individual attributes from the cooler, Margaret River region of Australia to produce a wine of great complexity and interest.
The wine displays awesome colour; deep crimson red, bright and vibrant in hue. The bouquet is a complex mix of ripe berry fruits and savoury aromas. The palate displays rich and fruit sweet fullness with a complex and savoury textural finish of mature tannin. The 2017 Red Right Hand has the structure to reward medium term cellaring but is especially attractive now with its fruit ripe sweetness.
Snake Charmer Shiraz 2017
The 2017 Snake Charmer is sourced from select old vine Shiraz vineyards in the heart of McLaren Vale. The wine is matured in 2 – 3 use French & American oak as selected by Vinaceous Winemaker Mike Farmilo at Chapel Hill for 12 – 14 months. The result is an exceptional, deep purple & vivid in colour with bright hues - with perfumed, lifted berries and spice on the nose, intense black fruits, dark chocolate and mocha notes across the mid palate; wonderfully rich, layered and textural; this wine literally coats the mouth - and finishes with soft, long and silky tannins and toasty oak nuances.
Voodoo Moon Malbec 2017
Famous as one of the traditional Bordeaux red grape varieties, Malbec is grown all over the world especially Argentina and now increasingly in Australia.
The 2017 Vinaceous Voodoo Moon Malbec is the seventh vintage of this exciting varietal. Sourced from a single vineyard in the sub-region of Wilyabrup, Margaret River from mature vines, the Voodoo Moon used traditional winemaking techniques to achieve full colour and extraction. The resulting wine is dark, deep purple in colour and has a brooding and perfumed bouquet. The palate is rich, layered and textured - really fills the mouth with its immense power and weight, but retains its finesse with long, soft integrated tannins.
Raconteur Cabernet Sauvignon 2017
The Raconteur typifies classic Margaret River cabernet; lush, rich and deep purple in colour with bright hues, the aroma leaps from the glass with violets and black berry and mocha notes.
Not unlike a Rorschach Image, people will see different flavours across the palate; some will find ripe fleshy black currants and cassis, others will find crunchy sour cherries; but both complement the overall palate with intensity, weight, structure and texture.
