Full of exotic notes of guava, quince and raspberry, lightly spiced with musk, rose petal and star anise. Fresh, punchy lychee, guava, raspberry sorbet, and pomegranate flavours provide a luscious sweetness to the palate, perfectly complimented by a zesty citrus acid crunch and light fizz. Fragrant, fresh, moreish and low in alcohol, this wine is a wonderfully light alternative to champagne that can be enjoyed any time of the day or year.
Pinot Noir 2017
The colour of red gemstones and an attractive bouquet of cherries, plums, and exotic, sweet spices. Red berry fruits, a silky mouthfeel, gentle acidity and elegant tannins give vibrancy of flavour and a lovely long finish.
A cheery ruby colour in the glass, this Shiraz offers fresh aromas of black cherry, plums and fruit cake spice. A little liquorice and chocolate compliment the fruit on the palate, with a gentler tannic structure that ensures drinkability with or without food.
Cabernet Merlot 2016
Deep, dense ruby and garnet in colour with characteristic Cabernet aromas of black and blue berry fruits and freshly rubbed dry herbs. The palate is rich and fleshy from the Merlot contribution, with juicy blackberry, fresh mushrooms and floral notes. Ripe open-knit fruit tannins are well integrated with the use of fine grain French oak.
Vera's Cuvée Sparkling White NV
The colour is very pale with no hint of the red Pinot Noir grapes used in its formation. The nose is fresh and light with citrus and floral aromas complemented by some bread, apricot and baked apple notes. The palate is light with a delicate bead, zesty citrus acidity, and a lively finish.
Notes of golden delicious apples, beurré bosc pear and ginger spice are captured in the first effervescing notes that take flight from the glass. That first mouthful is full of crisp, tart apple flesh balanced by a honeyed and creamy richness. As your tongue gently squeezes the bubbles, a lovely mousse texture fills the palate and it’s time for another sip to repeat this wonderfully sensual, textural and flavourful experience.
