The barrel fermentation and maturation has resulted in a more layered and textured palate, whilst still maintaining the trademark varietal citrus and stone fruit purity. The remainder of the wine is held cool in stainless steel tanks and on its yeast lees for 8 months prior to bottling.
Pinot Grigio 2017
The 2017 Pinot Grigio displays green pears, fresh herbs and lemongrass flavours underpinned by a lingering crunchy palate. We have opted for a drier style, as this in combination with the textural mouth feel allows the variety to showcase its nuances as well as ensuring that the wine can be enjoyed in partnership with food.
Sangiovese Rose 2018
A dry and textured style which capitalises on Sangiovese’s delicious “sweet” core of sour cherry fruit. The 2018 Sangiovese Rosé is brimming with cranberry and strawberry aromas. The palate explodes with the flavours of fresh juicy raspberries and sour cherries, culminating with a lingering fine tannin finish.
